Work in Progress
The fact that I even had a choice was fortunate — the current warden's sentence was ending soon and I am to be his replacement.My prison? The very haunted Isle of Spirits — the last harbour for every soul departing the mortal coil.If I refused, it was the headsman's axe for me. If I adapted and took on a job no one would willingly do, I get to live as long as my sanity allowed it.But the warden is here on false accusations, and while I am guilty as charged, neither of us can expect to leave here alive.As it turned out, neither of us wanted to.
Isle of Spirits first came to life as a writing prompt in a NSFW Reddit community. My "quick script" for a challenge ended up being far too long for one audio, so I broke it up into a potential three-parter and kept writing.But there was so much of the world to explore, and more to Sunshine and Jacob than a bunch of audio scripts could convey. I took it offline to be developed into a novel. Perhaps you'll find it in the store one of these days.
I had the honour and privilege of hearing a short extract of this story come to life through the voice talent of Su Ling Chan and Marlon Dance-Hooi, as part of the AANHPI Heritage Month 2026 Project led by Hel and Heather Kay Ling. I came into the audio erotica world through Quinn as a listener, and have a couple of scripts produced there since then. I did some of the sound design work and contributed scripts to the now defunct Under Covers Audio.I am here to tell stories featuring older characters (above 35) who may or may not also happen to be Asian. As Chinese Xennial from South East Asia, I rarely see myself represented in this genre, so I'm writing them myself.I've been a professional writer for around two decades, with a focus on creative nonfiction and journalism.
